Summer will get underway in Pershore with a sold-out performance of a musical classic.

Number 8 will kicked off the new season with Pershore Operatic Society's Priscilla: Queen of the Desert.

A range of summer events are lined up at the venue, ranging from cinema screenings to a dance workshop.

The program will include a one-woman theatre production, jazz concerts, event cinema screenings of blockbuster musicals and even a Pablo Picasso pop-up painting workshop.

It also features screenings of upcoming film releases such as 'The Bikeriders', 'Freud’s Last Session' starring Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode, and 'The Fall Guy'.

Foreign language films being screened this season include 'The Origin of Evil', 'Perfect Days', 'Rosalie', 'Àma Gloria' and 'The Nature of Love'.

The venue will also host a range of activities in 'The Foyer', including free Sip & Sketch afternoons and Sing-Alongs alongside gallery and craft exhibitions.

There are also plenty of options for families, including 'Woodland Tales with Granddad', a 'Minions & Movers' Dance Workshop and holiday screenings of films like 'Butterfly Tale', 'Inside Out 2', 'IF', 'The Garfield Movie', and 'Despicable Me 4'.
