A BURGLARY suspect is in the cells in Worcester after a bank card was stolen from a home and used fraudulently.
A 43-year-old man is in custody at Worcester Police Station in Castle Street after an alleged burglary in Main Street, Pinvin, near Pershore.
The suspect from Evesham was arrested this morning following the alleged burglary on April 20.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "He's in the cells but has yet to be interviewed."
The burglary, which is believed to have occurred when entry was gained to an insecure property, happened between 6am and 6.30am.
A stolen bank card was used fraudulently in Pershore after the alleged burglary.
