A BROKEN washing machine was creating a smoky smell in a house.
Firefighters from Worcester Fire Station were called to Church Lane, Flyford Flavell on Sunday, May 19.
A burning belt was responsible for the smoke.
A spokesperson from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Worcester Fire Station were called at 6.30pm on 19 May to a smell of smoke at a house in Church Lane, Flyford Flavell.
"The smoke was coming from a washing machine and believed to be from a burning belt.
"Crews removed the washing machine from a utility room.
"A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended."
