BIRDS are being attacked with weapons in an Evesham park.
Witnesses say that youths are targeting pigeons and waterfowl.
They are attacking the birds with slingshots in Abbey Park and along the river.
Luke Harris, PCSO at West Mercia Police said: "Evesham SNT have increased their patrols in the area but are asking members of the public to remain vigilant and report to 999, any sightings of slingshots or similar artefacts being used, so that we may respond swiftly.
