Traffic lights on a busy road are to be reviewed by the county council after complaints from residents.
The lights at the junction of Station Road in Pershore are to be reviewed after West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin wrote to the council.
Worcestershire County Council has agreed to 're-phase' the lights allowing more time for people to cross the road and have also agreed to repair a damaged guard rail.
Dame Harriett said: “I was contacted by local residents who shared their worries about the traffic lights, and I am grateful for the county council’s swift and positive response.
“The new Pershore link road, which I helped to campaign for, is making a huge difference to traffic flows through the town but it is helpful to get people’s feedback which I am happy to pass on to the council.
“The pedestrian crossing by the school has been a great help but further down the road towards the town, it is important that crossing the road, especially at the beginning and end of school, is as safe as possible.”
