Plans to install a cash machine outside a shop in Evesham have been rejected by planners.
International Mini Market in Port Street wanted to install an ATM near its front door, to provide a 24-hour banking service to the community.
But Evesham Town Council and county councillor Emma Stokes raised concerns over the proposed location, saying it would not leave much room for wheelchair users and people with pushchairs to get past.
And West Mercia Police said the installation of the ATM within a glazed shopfront would make it vulnerable to attack.
