A BURGLAR has been jailed after breaking into the home of a pensioner and stealing items including jewellery.
Jack Bradley, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to three years for two burglary dwelling offences - one offence in Harvington, near Evesham, and one in Gloucestershire.
The 25-year-old broke into the 84-year-old's house on September 30, 2023 while the victim was out with her daughter for the morning.
When she returned she found her house had been broken into with the rooms ransacked and there was glass all over the floor from a smashed window.
Bradley stole jewellery, watches, silverware, a mobile phone and shoes before leaving the address.
Five other offences admitted to by Bradley were also taken into consideration.
None of the stolen property was ever recovered.
