A WORCESTERSHIRE village is fighting back against thieves by joining forces with police and their district council.
Flyford Flavell has become the latest Smartwater Village in South Worcestershire.
SmartWater is a colourless liquid solution applied to belongings and valuables, which is nearly impossible to remove and can only be viewed under ultraviolet light.
Each household has a kit to label up to 75 items.
A spokesperson for Pershore SNT said: "Flyford Flavell is becoming the next Smartwater Village in South Worcestershire.
"We joined Wychavon District Council and residents on Friday, April 12, to assist and sign up residents for Neighbourhood Matters."
