A HOUSE fire in Pershore which started in a kitchen was put out by fire crews last night.
Two Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Malvern Fire Station were called at 9.15pm last night (Thursday) to a house fire in Abbots Road, Pershore.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A fire in the kitchen of a semi-detached property was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one jet and a covering jet.
"Crews damped down and checked for hotspots using a thermal imaging camera. Gas and electrics were isolated. There were no casualties. Police were also in attendance.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 11.21pm."
