A BROADWAY 63-year-old will “fly the flag for the grannies” at the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
Topsy Taee is running the challenge on Sunday, April 7 to support Alzheimer’s Research UK.
Topsy is no stranger to tackling long distances on foot having done marathons before.
She says running keeps her young and makes her feel alive.
Topsy continued: “I decided to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon this year – simply because I can and I thought why not!
"Many of us are told when we hit our latter years or when the menopause comes we have to stop and slow down.
“I wasn’t having any of that so I want to fly the flag for the grannies out there like me and inspire people to do more things.
“If I can, anyone can.”
