A two-storey extension will be built on the back of a listed building in a Worcestershire village.
Plans for an extension at The Old Smithy in Elmley Castle, near Evesham, have been approved by district planners.
The Grade II listed building is a timber-framed cottage and its owners need more space for guests and for their growing family.
Planning officers said the extension would not be visible to passers-by and would restore privacy between The Old Smithy and a neighbouring house that was developed in 2000.
