Worcestershire-based haulier Superior Freight has taken further steps towards strengthening its network across the UK.

After several years with the Fortec Distribution Network, the company made the move to join the Pall-Ex network in October last year.

This strategic decision was aimed at extending its services to community businesses and to bolster growth.

Through the affiliation with the Pall-Ex network, Superior Freight expands its access to UK-wide haulage firms alongside international partners.

This is expected to make freight distribution more efficient and streamlined.

It's noteworthy that the company, based in Honeybourne, will cover postcodes across Gloucestershire for the Pall-Ex Group.

Since its inception six years ago, Superior Freight has grown its presence within the haulage industry, by broadening its HGV vehicle fleet and amplifying the range of services available to customers.

In addition to palletised freight delivery, it offers general haulage, container devanning, warehousing, and storage solutions at its 40,000 square foot site in Evesham.

The haulier recently won a Diamond Excellence Award from Fortec in September last year, for maintaining 98 per cent across targets.

Superior Freight's managing director, Andrew Johns, said: "Being part of a shareholder network ensures that all members are striving to achieve the same performance levels.

"This means we can be confident that the quality of service we are known for at Superior Freight is maintained throughout the entire Pall-Ex Group network.

"As a family-run business, we are dedicated to ensuring the best customer service possible and it’s clear that Pall-Ex Group share the same values."

Pall-Ex's Regional Director for the South West, Ashley Diamond, echoed the excitement, saying: "We are thrilled to welcome Superior Freight to the Pall-Ex network.

"After seeing their success over the last few years working with Fortec it’s great to have them onboard and ready to grow within the Pall-Ex network also."
