A POPULAR skate park in Moreton has closed for a week.
The skate park on London Road has closed today (Monday) until this Friday so teams can conduct essential maintenance work.
The skate park is a concrete back-and-forth style featuring a mini ramp, a ledge and a rail.
A spokesperson for Moreton-in-Marsh Town Council said: "The London Road skatepark will be closed for one week, from Monday, January 15 to Friday, January 19 - inclusive of essential maintenance works."
The skate park first opened in Moreton in 2012 after a fifteen-year battle.
Moreton Town Council had been fighting for years to get the plans approved.
The £65,000 skatepark has been built on the former site of the Moreton Rangers Football Club on London Road, which had to be demolished last year after a spate of vandalism.
