A SALON where people travel from as far as London travel to get their hair done has scooped several national awards.
Creative Hair Studio in Blackminster Business Park came out on top at the Salon Awards 2023 by the team bagging individual and business accolades.
The team had won awards like Best Textured Salon of the Year, Best Colour Salon of the Year, Best Salon Team and Best Customer Service to name a few of the awards they scooped.
The pinnacle of success was reached when Creative Hair Studio clinched the prestigious Best Salon of the Year.
Tracey Davies, salon owner, said the win is a testament to her staff who deserve all the awards they have won.
"People travel as far from Manchester and London to get their done - I may be the owner but this salon would be nothing without the girls," she said.
"You have to show so much evidence to show you are worthy to become a finalist.
"There are hundreds of people across the UK and have so many areas. It is an absolute privilege to be classed as worthy to be a finalist, let alone win.
"My team work so hard, and it is the team in the studio that does all the hard work.
"They deserve all the awards they have won."
The Salon of the Year awards was hosted by Don Lehane at a black tie ceremony in Manchester.
Each salon can choose which category they wish to enter and then and is judged against other salons and peers.
Mrs Davies added: "This achievement is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our team and the continuous support of our cherished clientele.
"We are deeply honoured to receive these awards, which recognise our commitment to excellence and innovation in the world of hairdressing."
