A food bank appeal has been launched by Co-op to support vulnerable communities this Christmas.
The appeal urges customers to donate to their nearest Co-op Food Store, which will then be passed on to food bank partners.
Last year £20,000 was raised, and was distributed across Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, West Midlands and Worcestershire.
Tarra Simmons, head of community and democratic engagement at The Midcounties Co-operative, said: "I want to thank all customers, members and colleagues who are able to donate what they can, together we can do good with every shop and continue to give back to the communities we serve.”
