Popular cinema and theatre, Number 8 in Pershore, is gearing up for a festive season full of screenings and events.
Starting the festivities, Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS) will stage their Christmas Spectacular from Monday, December 4 to Saturday, December 9.
The performance will include classics from Christmas crooners, pop tunes, and songs from well-known musicals as well as comedy sketches, dance routines and backing of a live band.

As December picks up pace, a sweet treat for ballet enthusiasts will manifest through showings of The Royal Ballet's production of The Nutcracker on Tuesday, December 12 and Sunday, December 17.
For those partial to some live music, a Festive Folk evening is due on Thursday, December 14.
Number 8 will also host the highest-ranked brass band in the west of England, The Flowers Band, for a performance on Saturday, December 16.
Modern-day balladeers GreenMatthews will perform the Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol: In Concert on Friday, December 15.
That same day the venue will hold a free Festive Sing-Along in The Foyer.
Live screenings at the venue include André Rieu’s White Christmas in Maastricht and The Berliner Philharmoniker’s New Year’s Eve Concert.
Movie-goers can experience the classic Irving Berlin musical Holiday Inn on Monday, December 18, and the festive musical adventure Journey to Bethlehem on Wednesday, December 20.
A Festive French Language Café will be followed by the screening of 8 Women on Thursday, December 21.
Events extend beyond just music and film, as those hunting for the perfect gift can head to the Number 8 Box Office for gift tokens, while original artwork and handcrafted pottery are on sale from the gallery and craft exhibitions at the Just After 8 charity shop.
