A REALITY TV star partied the night away at a club in Evesham to mark its anniversary.
Marilyn's Nightclub welcomed Joey Essex to celebrate its 38th birthday last weekend (Saturday, September 30).
The star - known for being on shows like The Only Way Is Essex, I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, Dancing On Ice, and Celebs Go Dating - had snapped pictures with fans and greeted partygoers.
Samuel Benjamin has been the club's general manager since 2017 and said it was full to the brim with people celebrating the club's milestone birthday.
"We had a great night," he said.
"It was a full house, and Joey was brilliant with all of the customers. Everyone loved it. All eyes are on a busy Halloween now, we'll be announcing our events this week. "
Joining Joey on the night was DJ Jase Croy, a well-known face in the club, who played music from the charts, dance anthems, R&B and cheese tunes.
The club was first opened in the early 80s by Barry Steele, who had decided to set up the town's first nightclub.
Since then, the club has welcomed a variety of high-profile guests like Sonny Fodera, Hannah Wants, Wes Nelson, Boy George, Judge Jules, Coolio and Tinchy Stryder.
It also hosts tailored monthly parties for adults with disabilities and previously gave kids aged eight and under their first taste of the clubbing scene with a Big Fish Little Fish kids party.
More recently, the club on Bridge Street teamed up with Sam Steel Limited to provide minibus trips across Evesham and neighbouring villages for its customers.
The move hoped to connect neighbouring villages to Evesham and help Marilyn's customers return safely.
Marilyn's Nightclub runs the scheme every Saturday at three time slots, which are 1.30am, 2.20am and 3.30am.
The minibus trip costs £7, and customers can visit places like Badsey, Bretforton and Honeybourne.
