THE date when Pershore's Christmas lights will be switched on has been revealed.
For the first time this year, the town will bring its own Georgian Christmas Fayre, which will be the backdrop to the light switch-on.
The fayre will start on November 24, with the light switch on at 6pm and then will come to a close in the evening of November 26.
The town centre is set to be transformed into a magical winter wonderland with dazzling lights and decorations around Broad Street.

This year, the switch on has been moved to Broad Street to allow the Georgian Christmas Fayre to be involved in the festivities.
The market will also have handmade gifts, arts and crafts, and food and beverages from local vendors to help support local businesses and foster community spirit.
Police, fire service, and Worcestershire County Council are also set to be in attendance, and temporary road closures around Broad Street will be put in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Parking and road closures are still to be confirmed for the event.
Pershore Georgian Christmas Fayre will be delivered to the town by Pershore Town Council, Pershore Place Board and Wychavon District Council.
