CRASH: The A46 has now reopened after a crash earlier this afternoon
A MAJOR road has now reopened after it was closed earlier this afternoon because of a crash which caused delays for drivers.
The crash happened on the A46 just east of Beckford, near to the Ashton-Under-Hill turn, this afternoon West Mercia Police said.

However, at around 5pm today police confirmed the road had reopened and thanked drivers for their patience.
West Mercia Police had been advising drivers to use an alternative route.
