WORK on a Grade II listed bridge has almost been completed and an expected date for its reopening has been revealed.
Eckington Bridge, on Pershore Road between Eckington and Defford, was damaged in a crash last year.
Divers retrieved sandstone blocks from the riverbed which are now being replaced.
The bridge is expected to reopen on Friday, August 25.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council Highways and Travel said: "Good progress being made repairing the grade II scheduled monument Eckington Bridge which was damaged in a collision last year."
