PLANTS and trees have been stolen from across Pershore.
Police are appealing for information after multiple plants were stolen from properties and public parks across the town.
St Andrew's Parish Centre had its plants stolen from the side of its building and three Magnolia trees were stolen from Abbey Park.
However, Police said this has happened on multiple occasions.
A spokesperson for Pershore SNT said: "We are appealing for information following recent incidents where plants have been stolen from St Andrew's Parish Centre at the side of the building.
"This has happened a couple of times now, and a lot of effort is put into looking after these areas with the plants being donated.
"Three Magnolia trees have also been stolen from Abbey Park.
"If you have any information, please call 101 or tell us online, quoting ref: 00190_i_06072023."
In April, three magnolia trees were discovered missing from Abbey Park just a few weeks after they were planted.
The trees would have cost more than £500 to replace and replant.
It was believed that at the time, they were stolen to be replanted instead of as an act of vandalism.
Ian Edwards, director of Economy and Environment on Wychavon District Council, said: "We're planting these trees not only for people to enjoy but also to support our wildlife and it's incredibly frustrating and disappointing when something like this happens.
"This isn't a victimless crime as there will be a cost to the taxpayer to replace these trees. If anyone saw anything or has any other information that could help find those responsible then please share it with the police."
