Supporters of the NHS celebrated the service's birthday.
Campaigners from Keep Our NHS Public gathered at the top of Bridge Street in Evesham on Wednesday (July 5) to mark 75 years of the National Health Service.
More than 90 people signed birthday cards which will be sent to MP Nigel Huddleston to demonstrate the public’s support for the NHS.
Dr Sylvia Chandler, a member of Keep Our NHS Public, said: “Despite its many problems people continue to value immensely a universal service which is publicly funded and owned, free at the point of need and accountable to the public.
“No private sector provides A&E services or trains staff”.
