A COCKEREL was dumped in a Pershore resident's garden.
Two Hoots Bird Rescue was called for help after a rooster was thrown over a fence into someone’s garden.
Chloe Bullock, who runs the rescue with her husband John, is hoping to reunite the bird with its owner.
She said: “He’s doing fine and has been called Henry by his finder.
“I had a phone call yesterday afternoon (June 29) from a gentleman in Pershore who had him thrown over the fence into his garden.
“The incident was caught on CCTV, which clearly shows him being dumped.
“The gentleman brought him in this morning so he’s safe from harm.
"He has scaly mites on his legs but it's mild and had treatment this morning."

Mrs Bullock added: “He’s a gentle giant, easy to pick up and no sign of aggression.
“He will stay with me at Two Hoots until the owner comes forward or until someone offers to take him.
“We have some beautiful cockerels in at the moment if anyone is interested in adopting any.”
