RUBBISH was dumped in the middle of the road and set on fire.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called to a blaze in Atch Lench, outside Evesham.
Crews discovered conifers that had been fly-tipped and set alight shortly after 11pm on Wednesday (June 21).
A spokesperson for HWFRS said: “The fire involved cut-down conifers which had been fly-tipped and set alight in the middle of the roadway.
“The fire, which was around 3m by 3m, was extinguished using one hosereel jet.
“There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
“The incident was marked as pending closure at 11.47pm.”
