One of the country’s top comedians is coming to Evesham.

Angela Barnes will bring her Hot Mess UK tour to the Town Hall later this year.

She is best known for starring on shows such as Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo, and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

Barnes swapped a career in health and social care for stand-up in 2010 and hasn’t looked back.

Within a couple of years, she had won the BBC New Comedy Award and has gone on to hold numerous UK-wide tours.

She is also a firm favourite on BBC Radio 4, having featured on The Now Show as well as enjoying stints hosting The News Quiz and Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack.

Alongside this, Barnes hosts the We Are History podcast with Joh O’Farrell.

She comes to Evesham on Sunday, October 29, with tickets on sale now.
