POLICE are investigating a burglary at a football club in which a lawnmower worth more than £10,000 was stolen.
Littleton Football Club has been broken into, West Mercia Police has confirmed.
The offender(s) forced entry into the clubhouse on Pebworth Road in North Littleton sometime between 11pm on Saturday (June 17) and 4am the following day.
Items worth around £36 were stolen.
Also at this time, a shipping container at the club was broken into, with the thieves stealing a John Deere lawnmower (model X750), which is valued at £13,000.
West Mercia Police is now appealing for information.
