A MAN has been accused of stealing two dogs from a rescue charity.
Ashley Withers, of Dudley Road in Honeybourne, near Evesham, is due in court after allegedly stealing two dogs belonging to Last Hope Rescue.
The 27-year-old reportedly stole a dog name Apollo and another named Marshall in Evesham between August 25 and December 31, 2020.
Both dogs were valued at £500.
Last Hope Rescue is a Britain-wide charity run by volunteers based from home which aims to rescue and rehome dogs around the country.
Withers appeared in court on April 4 when he pleaded not guilty to both thefts.
He is set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Monday, June 5.
