PERSHORE'S Toyah Willcox and husband Robert Fripps are set to kick off their new tour at a Worcester theatre after the success of their iconic YouTube series.
Singer Toyah Willcox and musician Robert Fripp have a YouTube series called Sunday Lunch where they create quirky covers of popular music songs.
It proved a massive hit during lockdown.
They will be debuting their new show Toyah and Robert's Rock Party at Huntingdon Hall on Friday and Saturday (May 26 and 27).
Popstar Toyah is best known for her songs It's a Mystery, Thunder in the Mountains and I Want to Be Free and now lives in Pershore.
Her co-star Robert Fripp was the founder and long-lasting member of progressive rock band King Crimson.
Lockdown inspired the duo to start making videos and over the past three years, the videos have received 77 million views across social media.
They release a new video on YouTube every Sunday.
Theatre lovers will be able to enjoy an evening of live music with Robert playing on the guitar and a plethora of upbeat sets of classical songs.
Robert and Toyah will be performing a range of songs including Toyah's It’s A Mystery and I Want To Be Free.
They will also perform hits such as Heroes, Rebel Yell, Slave To The Rhythm, Are You Gonna Go My Way, Paranoid and more.
Toyah said: "We are so excited to be bringing our new Rock Party show to Worcester.
"This will be a rock show, with a full rock band—an uplifting party of a show.
"Be ready to party, be ready to dance, be ready for some serious vocals from me and some serious rock guitar from Robert."
