A TAPESTRY of a town’s history is set to be unveiled.
Rotary in the Vale are about to unveil the 45-foot-long Evesham History Tapestry.
The project has been two years in the making and will go on display at All Saints Church this weekend.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Rotary in the Vale are pleased to announce the long-awaited unveiling of the Evesham History Tapestry is happening this weekend.
“A stunning project completed by our dedicated Evesham Tapestry group after two years of hard work.
“The tapestry, which is 45ft long, covers the history of Evesham from Neolithic times to the present day is an outstanding piece of work.
“Come along and witness the intricate details of this beautiful piece of art for yourself!”
Everyone is invited to go and visit the tapestry, which will be on display on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday 21, coinciding with the Evesham Medieval Market.
