Organisers are “raring to go” ahead of Shipston Proms.
The popular music festival returns soon, with everything from reggae and jazz to opera and rock and roll.
With the Stratford River Festival cancelled organisers are hopeful the crowds will flock to Shipston.
Chair of the committee, Charlotte Haines, said: “After such an amazing year back after the lockdowns last year, the Proms are raring to go again with even more music styles than normal!”
The Proms begin on June 17, with King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys now confirmed as this year’s headliner for the final night, on July 1.
Launch night kicks off with music from two ska-influenced bands, Papa Nui and Hope & Glory, both of which will pay tribute to 80s bands such as Madness, The Specials, and The Beat.
A week later, a Tina Turner tribute will take to Townsend Hall.
Meanwhile, for the first time in the event’s history, there will be an opera performance, sung by locals Anna Patalong and Benedict Nelson.
There will also be the opportunity to get hands-on, with a Taiko drumming workshop led by Teresa Brooks taking place up in Newbold.

Shipston Introducing will also make a return.
Held on the first Sunday of the festival, winners of the competition will win a place on the final night bill.
2022’s winners, The Weekend Warriors from Chipping Norton, are returning to support this year’s headliners.
For a younger audience, the committee has planned an Ibizan Dance Night with three DJs; Tim Shickle, Harry Synge Nick the Kid.
Elsewhere on the programme, Shipston’s acapella choir Cantamus will perform at Townsend Hall while local singer-songwriter Greg Brice will play at Bower House.
“Shipston has such a welcoming community of music lovers that every event is special,” he said.

Tickets for all shows will be through Eventbrite or Clarks Electrical on the High Street.
