A quick response from police following reports a man was trying to open doors of homes in Childswickham has led to a man being arrested.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "At 10.40pm on Thursday, April 19, we received calls from concerned residents on Broadway Road of a man acting suspiciously, trying doors of a number of houses. In under ten minutes officers, who had been on patrol nearby, were in the area and arrested a suspect."

The 20-year-old man from Evesham was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary. He has been released on bail.
A police spokesperson added: "We’d like to thank the local community for their quick thinking in giving us a ring when they saw the suspicious behaviour as it meant we could be quickly at the scene and taking positive action."
