Family fun, live music, crafts and delicious food will all form part of the Cropthorne Walkabout for the May Bank Holiday weekend.
From Sunday April 30 - Monday May 1, Cropthorne village will once again welcome visitors to explore what’s on offer.
There is a big focus on family entertainment this year, ensuring big and little kids of all ages will have a fantastic day out.
Many private homes open their striking gardens to the public, offering spectacular views down to the river Avon.
Revellers will also discover a fabulous collection of vintage motors, a second-hand book stall and motorcycles.
Watch the maypole dancing in Cropthorne School, then head back to the Sheppey and village hall for craft stalls, plants and local artists.
You could bring a picnic for lunch, try freshly made pizzas, jacket potatoes, hot pork rolls or delicious homemade classic afternoon tea. Take a ride on the miniature steam train, tackle the climbing wall and check out the Air Ambulance and Fire Engine.
The church yard has a tombola, bell ringing, a flower festival, Morris dancing and professional face painting. Finally, enjoy another slice of cake and refreshments, including a licensed bar with live music and singers throughout the day.
Tickets are £6 per person and children under five go free. There is ample free parking and a complimentary shuttle bus for tired legs.
The event is open from 11am - 5pm. Organised and run by volunteers, all proceeds are used to fund local village buildings and community initiatives.
