A national chain has moved into an Evesham shopping centre.

The Valley is now home to one of the country's leading specialist retailers.

Card Factory opened up at the site, just off the A46, this morning.

Since launching Wakefield in 1997, Card Factory has opened more than 1,000 stores across UK and Ireland.

It sells greeting cards, gift dressings and party products, among other things.

Card Factory's opening at The Valley follows the launch of Aztec Adventure's Lost Valley adventure golf and high ropes course earlier this month.

More than 1,000 guests visited the attraction in its first four days after opening, on Saturday, April 1.

For those who haven’t visited yet, the 18-hole golf course features an Aztec temple, a wooden bridge, water features and a crashed plane, and is suitable for all ages.

Meanwhile, the high ropes course features 15 elements to conquer, including a cargo net, swingy steps, see-saw steps and various wobbly bridges, climaxing with a 70-metre zip-wire descent.
