CRACK cocaine and methadone were found at the scene of a recent drugs raid near Evesham.

Evesham police carried out a drugs warrant at a property in Wickhamford, near Evesham, on Easter Sunday morning (April 9).

West Mercia Police sergeant, Chris Bannister, confirmed that police are also investigating an offense with intent to supply controlled drugs.

Sergeant Bannister said: "A quantity of crack cocaine and methadone were seized (the value is unknown at this time until it has been assessed).

"At this time, police are investigating an offence of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.

"Also found were four mobile phones, weighing scales and £70."

Police published a video on Twitter showing officers breaking down the front door of the property. Shouting can be heard as police enter the building.

Despite the seizure of drugs, drug paraphernalia and money, no arrests have been made.

Sergeant Bannister said: "The occupant was not present at the time of the warrant.

"The identity of the suspect is known, and officers will be interviewing as soon as practicable.

"They know where the suspect is, so will be dealing in the near future. Further details will not be disclosed at this time."
