THE owner of a dog which attacked another dog near Evesham has been arrested.
Police have confirmed that they identified the owner of the involved dog which was said to be running loose in Offenham and arrested the owner.
A Community Protection Notice Warning was issued to place restrictions on the dog owner to prevent further incidents.
Investigations are now underway.
Sergeant Chris Bannister said: "Following on from the report of the dangerous dog being loose in the Offenham area, we have spoken to the people involved and can update the victim’s dog has no injuries.
"Thank you for alerting the Police, working together we have been able to take positive action.
"Please report any further issues to the Police and we can commence further proceedings against the owner of the dog."

A Belgian shepherd was said to be running loose in Offenham on Tuesday, March 14.
Members of the Evesham Safer Neighbourhood Team arrived at around 8.30am to find that a large dog, described as a Belgian shepherd cross, had attacked another dog.
Officers were in attendance shortly after the attack but were not able to find the dog at first.
