Thirty wraps of Class A drugs, a small amount of cannabis, £290 worth of cash and six phones were all seized during the operation.

PC Adam Johns reassured members of the public that it was in fact plain clothes police officers involved in the arrests.

He said: "As a result of the arrests, all were interviewed, and the investigation is ongoing.

"For members of the public who were on Port Street at approximately 3pm on Sunday, March 5, please be assured that it was police officers in plain clothes dealing with this incident.

"Drug dealing is one of our local priorities and we urge members of the community to come forward and provide any information they have."
