A vigil for a murdered trans schoolgirl was held in Evesham.
Residents of Evesham paid tribute to Brianna Ghey.
Brianna was found stabbed to death in a park in Warrington earlier this month, aged just 16.
Reverend Mark Hutchinson, Minister to the Evesham Unitarians, decided to hold a vigil at the Oat Street Chapel to offer locals a chance to mourn.
He said: "Brianna was remembered on Saturday at a vigil on Saturday in Evesham.
"Poetry, silence and music were offered.
"The organisers are grateful that Brianna was honoured both at the vigil and with positive social media recognition."
Speaking before Saturday's vigil, Reverend Hutchinson said: "There are two principle reasons for hosting this vigil.
"Firstly, it is important to recognise this kind of tragedy and the people who are excluded from society.
"It is also really important that Evesham is involved in these sorts of national moments which are often only recognised in bigger towns and cities."
The vigil took place at 6pm on Saturday, February 25 at the Gatehouse on Oat Street.
It comes after similar memorials were held elsewhere in the country, including in Brianna's hometown of Warrington and outside the Guildhall in Worcester.
