ALMOST half of over 16s in Wychavon are married according to data from the Office for National Statistics.
The figures were published by the Office for National Statistics from the 2021 Census.
The data consists of the proportion of people aged 16 and over in local authorities in England and Wales who are either married, divorced or were formerly in a civil partnership.
According to the data, 49.1 per cent of the population over the age of 16 are married (approximately 54,232 people).
The data also shows that 9.3 per cent of the population are divorced (approximately 10,289 people).

According to the census data, Wychavon had a total population of 132,500 people, and of this 110,638 are over the age of 16.
This makes Wychavon the sixth least densely populated of the West Midlands' 30 local authority areas, with around one person living on each football pitch-sized area of land.
In comparison to Worcester, 43.9 per cent of Worcester's over 16 population is married (approximately 85,614 people), which is 82.4 per cent of population demographic.
The figures also show that 10.5 per cent of the over 16 population were either divorced or were formerly in a civil partnership (approximately 8989), which equates to just nine per cent of the population demographic in Worcester.
As for the Malvern Hills, 48.2 per cent of of Malvern Hills over 16 population is married (approximately 32,380 people).
The data also shows that 8.8 per cent of the population over the age of 16 is divorced (approximately 5912 people).
Out of all the data provided, Harrow had the highest population percentage of married people with 54.8%.
Norwich had the highest population percentage of divorced people at 12.8 per cent.

The data also shows that nearly four in 10 adults in England and Wales have never been married or been in a civil partnership, up from three in 10 at the start of the century.
The figure has risen steadily over recent decades, from 26.3 per cent in 1991 to 30.1 per cent in 2001 and 34.6 per cent in 2011, reaching 37.9 per cent on the day of the latest census, March 21 2021.
