TWO men threatened another man with a knife before stealing his motorbike during two armed robberies which took place on Monday (February 20).

The men boarded a train between Honeybourne and Pershore at around 7pm armed with weapons. 

While on the train they stole airpods from a 17-year-old boy.

And around 7.30pm, the pair threatened a man who was on a motorbike and forced him to hand over his motorbike at Cherry Orchard in Pershore.  

The offenders have been described as white males, one is 6'2 of skinny build and was wearing all-black clothing with a balaclava with his hood up.

Evesham Journal:

The second was depicted as being 5'11 of average build, with blonde wavy hair and a thin blond beard. 

At the time of the robberies, he was wearing a white t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms, and a jacket. 

Police are currently hunting for more information about the two males and also believe they are not from Pershore.

West Mercia Police have asked anybody with more information to come forward. 

Detective Sergeant Edward Jones, said: “Incidents like this are unusual in Pershore so I understand that this will be alarming for the local community.

“We don’t believe that the offenders are local and we are working hard, in partnership with our colleagues from British Transport Police, to apprehend those responsibly.

“I’d urge anyone who was in either area at the time and may have witnessed the robberies or saw anyone matching the description of the offenders to please come forward.  We would also be interested in any CCTV, dash-cam or video doorbell footage which may show the offenders.”

Police have also appealed for witnesses to come forward on social media.

 

A tweet from the West Mercia Police account read: "We’re appealing for witnesses following two robberies in Pershore on Monday 20 Feb, both involving weapons.

"First was at 7pm on a train between Honeybourne and Pershore (led by British Transport Police (BTP)

"Second was at 7.30pm on Cherry Orchard."
