The following cases were heard at Worcester Magistrates Court recently.
A PLUMBER caught speeding a fourth time successfully managed to convince Worcester magistrates not to ban him.
Lee Garratt, of Crane Hollow, Wombourne, Wolverhampton, had reached 12 points on his licence making him a 'totter' and facing a six-month ban.
Garratt's latest offence had taken place in May last year when Garratt drove a Ford Transit on the A449 southbound between Crossway Green and Ombersley at a speed of 57mph in a 50mph zone.
Garratt, who defended himself, managed to argue exceptional hardship reasons not to receive a ban.

A PREGNANT drug addict, who is a prolific shoplifter, was warned by a magistrate if she returned to court in future to "bring a bag and toothbrush" because she would go to jail.
Phillipa Lake, 36, of Buckle Wood, Worcester, made her latest appearance at Worcester Magistrates Court.
Lake, who has 26 shoplifting offences on her record, admitted two new charges of theft from a shop.
The chairman of the bench, Chris Mitchell, told Lake she was being jailed for eight weeks, but this would be suspended for a year.

A drunk man was arrested for drink driving an electric motorbike after parking next to a marked police car, a court heard.
Liam Smith, 20, of Moat Crescent, Malvern, made a trip on the motorbike in the early hours of the morning as he wanted food from McDonald's after a night of drinking.
Sam Lamsdale, defending, explained it wasn't an e-scooter often driven by people of his age, but his step-mother's mobility aid bike he had permission to drive.
She added: "If he had realised it was a criminal offence he wouldn't have parked next to a marked police vehicle."

A WOMAN who made national headlines for whipping an officer in the face with her urine-soaked trousers made a return to court to admit her latest police assaults.
Police were initially called out to a concern for Alanna Knight's safety as she was threatening to jump from her balcony.
But the 21-year-old of Pierpoint Street, Worcester, abused the officers trying to help her before assaulting police officers.
Knight will now return to the court for sentence.

AND West Mercia Police call handler Lucy Tull, 25, of Melville Street, Salford, Greater Manchester and previously of Foley Road, Newent, Gloucestershire, admitted to being a cocaine and cannabis drug dealer.
The court heard the drug dealing took place between January 1, 2019 and December 4, 2020, in Newent, Gloucestershire.

Tull was told by magistrates their powers of sentencing were insufficient and the case was sent to Worcester Crown Court for her to be sentenced.
