A hair stylist from Broadway has won a prestigious award.

Katie Hemming, from Love Hair on High Street, has picked up a Hairdressers Journal Creative Hairdressing Award.

It was Katie’s ‘signature’ method that saw her named creative hair extensionist of the year and she couldn’t be prouder.

“Winning this award is an absolute dream come true,” Katie said.

“I've put my heart and soul into developing my signature hair extension method and to have it recognized by the industry is such an honour.

“It's been an incredible journey to see my clients gain confidence and a youthful appearance with my extensions and to know that I have made a positive impact on their lives.”

Katie is now looking to share her expertise with others in the industry.

As such, she has launched Love Hair University, an online graduate training program.

She added: “I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to share my passion and expertise with others through Love Hair University, and I look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of hair extensions.”
