It looks set to be a busy year ahead for the Evesham Festival of Words.

This year’s schedule involves more than 35 events, from literary-themed cycle rides to talks with popular authors and TV show presenters.

The main festival weekend starts on Thursday, June 29, but first up is an online poetry workshop in March hosted by Rhianna Levi, Worcestershire Poet Laureate.

Making appearances during the festival will be Turi King from the TV show DNA Family Secrets, best- authors Sophie Hannah and Joanna Cannon, and impressionist Alistair McGowan.
