MORE than £100,000 of solar panels have been stolen from land in Bretforton.
The solar panels were stolen from land in Bretforton, near Evesham at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, January 18.
Officers are also investigating the theft of a horse box from Broadway which happened on the same evening. It is not known if the thefts are linked.
Both the horse box and some of the solar panels have been recovered by police.

Safer Neighbourhood Inspector Daniel Fenn said: “The solar panels are of considerably value and while we have already recovered a significant amount, I would urge anyone who may be offered second hand solar panels at cut price for sale to let us know as it may be they are the stolen panels.
“We’re also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around Bretforton and Broadway on Wednesday night as they may have information that can help us track down those responsible.”
The safer neighbourhood team is working with local land owners in the area to offer reassurance around the steps police are taking to prevent thefts in the area. For more information contact your local safer neighbourhood team.
