A WORCESTER man now owes the courts more than £800 for fare dodging.
Marcin Rozmuj got on a train from Worcestershire Parkway heading to Pershore, without a £5.60 ticket.
He was challenged by an inspector but could not produce a ticket.
Worcester Magistrates Court heard the 27-year-old was written to by Great Western Railway, but he did not respond leading to the case being brought to court.
Magistrates fined him £440.
He was also ordered to pay £5.60 - the cost of the ticket - victim surcharge of £176 and costs of £180.
Rozmuj owes a total of £801.60 to the courts.
The case was heard on December 16.
