Evesham’s MP has congratulated Beth Mead on becoming BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
Mead, the Arsenal and England forward, became the first female footballer to win the award at a glitzy ceremony last night.
She was named player of the tournament at the Women’s Euros in the summer, scoring six goals as England became champions for the first time.
