Thousands of pounds worth of tools have been stolen from a car near Evesham.

West Mercia Police said the items were taken from a silver Toyota Hilux after the rear door was forced open in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The car was parked in Gorse Hill in Ashton Under Hill and the tools were taken between 12am and 7.45am on November 5.

According to the police, Stihl tools, a hedge cutter, combi motor, hedge cutter attachment, two blowers and a strimmer, worth a total of £2,000, were taken.
