CUSTOMER services provided by Wychavon District Council have been recognised for excellence for the 12th year in a row.
The council's services have been awarded Customer Service Excellence status.
The assessor recognised the work that has been completed by the council in reviewing and redesigning the website to improve accessibility to ensure all customers, whatever their ability, can access service information.
Areas for further improvement were also highlighted as a way for the council to continue improving its customer services including extending the Resident’s Survey to include 11 – 16-year-olds.
Cllr Emma Stokes, executive board member for resident and customer services, said: "I’m thrilled that we have received the Customer Service Excellence status 12 years in a row.
"Our staff truly care about the people we serve, and this is apparent in the results that have been achieved. There is work going on behind the scenes continually to improve the way we communicate with people wanting to access our services."
