SISTER and Brother Amy and Ed Surman won gold and silver medals at the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships in London.
Twelve-year-old Amy overcame 56 Year 7 girls to take the national title after racing on Indoor machines for two minutes and clocking up 516 metres.
The pupil at Abbey Park Middle School in Pershore trains with the Ross Junior Academy in Ross-on-Wye.
She has also won silver medals at both the Welsh and English Indoor Championships and moving up to top spot capped a hugely successful season.
Ed, aged 14, competed against 111 Year 9 boys to take a silver medal and was only eight metres behind the gold medallist.
Rowing for four minutes, the Pershore High School student clocked up a distance of 1175 metres.
He also trains at Ross and at the Evesham club and is now going to concentrate on his performance on the water for the rest of the season when he hopes more national medals will follow.
