A flood-hit pub will be closed for the entire weekend.
The Old Swanne Inne on Evesham high street was closed after a flood in the basement caused the electrics to trip.
Now, a spokesperson for Wetherspoons, the company that owns the bar, has said that it will hopefully reopen on Monday lunchtime.
On Thursday the spokesperson confirmed that Western Power had been called out to deal with the issue.
They said: "A flood in the old basement tripped the electrics.
"Western Power had to come out to isolate all electric supply to the building in order to pump the water out.
"All due to a faulty sump pump essentially."
