Police have recovered a stolen horse box trailer from a traveller site.
Evesham Safer Neighbourhood Team and patrol officers worked together to recover a trailer that had been stolen from the Gloucestershire area.
On Thursday, August 18, the horse box was found in the village of Cleeve Prior.
Gloucestershire Constabulary PC Nick Westmacott explained that the trailer had been stolen overnight from Paxford between Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17.
The owner of the trailer received information that a trailer matching the description of his, which had been stolen, had been seen on a traveller site in Cleeve Prior.
West Mercia Police were then notified and attended, confirming that it was indeed the stolen horse box.
Police in Gloucestershire now have a named suspect and will make further enquiries.
